Apparently, some hollywood type saw my season 4 fake title "FMP4: Jindai HS Musical" and took it seriously?

I hope not. But I guess a rendition of "Tip toe, through the mine fields" is in order?

uh-oh... Track list for the soundtrack cd volume 1:

Quote:

Jindai HS Musical Soundtrack Volume 1

1. Start of Something Odd
2. Get'cha ASs in the Game
3. What I've Been Sniping For
4. What I've Been Sniping For (2nd round)
5. Stick to the Pipe Bomb
6. When There Was Me and You and Pony-Pony
7. Bop to the Whipsered
8. Breaking Concrete
9. We're All in This Together (but I'll wear the biosuit)
10. I Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Not Even For A Second)
11. Get'cha ASs in the Game
12. Start of Something Odd - (instrumental)
13. Get'cha ASs in the Game - (instrumental)

Funny how anonymous threats seem to be effective. Gauron Gauron
We all know Shia LaBeouf will get the role.

Phew! Very Very Happy

I was thinking about this again today though and I wondered how likely it would actually be that any studio greenlights a film based around the humour of bringing a vast amount of weapons into a high school Confused

// uppercuts Killer into Jovian orbit

no caveat emptor on this one Killer

@Tulip
Then again, Hollywood's greenlighted dumber ideas before... why should they stop now?

If they actually do make this movie--here are some crazy ideas for the screenwriters:

Set the story at Jindai High School in Tokyo.
Cast Asians to play Sosuke, Kaname, Melissa, and Kyoko.
Cast non-Asians for Tessa, Kalinin, Mardukas, Kurz, and so on.

This approach is just SO crazy-- it might work.

Just to play Hollywood Exec advocate...

Blasphemy for Hollywood, the US is the center of the world, didn't you know?
Everywhere else is background or cannon fodder...

Name some wellknown Asians to play said characters. The number of A-List
Asian actors in Hollywood can probably be counted with one hand... unless
Hollywood knows something I don't know.

And much as I hate to point to them this way, Balls of Fury, Forbidden Kingdom and *coughs*Dragon Ball*coughs* were proof enough of this

...easy enough to do...

2 Strikes of 3, still think this project can fly as it is?

... and the scary part is, they're *all* well above 40...

... but it's not a problem for Hollywood, right?

What Hellfire says is very true about all the objections the Hollyweird Moguls would have to trying to make a film that sticks to Gatou's setting and storyline-- despite the fact that the original story is very popular around the world.

For a bunch of people that pride themselves for their "creativity", more often than not you can count on them to fall back on their comfort zone.

If the thing ever gets a green light:
* they will set it in some high school in the US, probably Southern Calif.;
* they will cast it with a bunch of Disney or Nickelodeon alumni;
* Amalgam will be substituted with the CIA;
* maybe they will figure out a way to add a talking animal or a pop band, or both; and;
* it will suck and fans of the series will be either angry, depressed or both.

Too bad.

Yup, I would bet money on it being set in California in a Beverley Hills 90210 kind of high school.

Any ideas what the American names of Kaname and Sousuke would be?

And how about Miley Cyrus for Kaname? Very Very Happy Sick

First point) good
Second point) likely
Third point) Or a Private Military Contractor remember PMC's are today's bad bad boys up to no good because there all "right wing neo fascist mercenaries" who would rather oppress then talk and mass murder then help. <See AVATAR, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots ( note: Great damn Game!),24, DOGS Of WAR,Army Of two.
Fourth point ) Bonta kun!
Fifth point) true that.
